In TFT demolishers and glaive throwers replaced RoC Catapults and Ballistas. RoC campaigns will get the original or tft versions?
Interesting. Never even thought of that. I actually hope they keep the Catapult and Ballista in RoC campaigns, since it brings a feeling of technological advancement, when we move on to the new siege weaponry in TFT.

I actually liked the ballista, catapult not so much. Mortars got forced so whatever. A healable siege. But otherwise, Ballista is WCII theme. Lethality is very different simce fully upgraded it could 1-shot kill armost any unit.
They are making 4000+ models, including makung different murloc models for the ones that used to be recolors or sized up models. The catapult and ballista are very likely in because they are also used by custom maps and they said custom maps using anything in the base game should work 1:1

I think the catapult and ballista models are going to wind up in because if they’re remaking all used models? Catapults I believe are used in the Reign of Chaos campaign by orcs (the example I remember is the Blackrock and Roll, Too mission from the Undead campaign?) and ballista by the high elves (the whole Sylvanas arc in the same Undead campaign). So while in melee/standard they were replaced by demolishers and glaive throwers, I think they’re going to be around again anyways.
demolisher is onl in frozen throne afaik. Ballista is given to NPC elves so only mortar is left.
You can use both on TFT as well (editor) by enabling the models/projectiles and stuff.
Well… Are we going to get these models? It’s after the official release now.
