So I reluctantly installed the reforged patch (I only own classic) and when entering my credentials, I have an error message, that prevents me from getting in the game.
Tying the game to classic account option is greyed out.
I looked into the forums, and I read that entering my cd-keys in my account would solve the issue, but when I entered them, it said that they were already in use. I have no idea if that is a bug or if I had already entered them, since I can’t check that (only that my account was linked to the “reforged” client).
So I still have the box/cds/keys, and the only way I see it is that I’ll have to reinstall the game and download the latest patch that didn’t require the current BN.
Check your account details in a browser. This is the same place where you set account settings and other properties.
If they appear there then you have them attached and this is caused by something else. If not then you do not have them attached.
If you do not have them attached and they are reporting that they are already in use then either you already attached them to a different account and forgot about it, or your keys have been stolen and so permanently lost.
If your keys have been stolen I suggest just buying Reforged and be done with it. Blame the amoral thieves who stole your property and not Blizzard. Law enforcement and consumer protection cannot help as you do not know when they were stolen or by who.
If you brought Reforged but then demanded a refund then this is likely related to the removal of Reforged from your account. Contact support and see if they can reactivate your old RoC and TFT keys.

The account details only show me the reforged account to be “active”, despite me never buying reforged in the first place.
However Roc and TFT don’t show up, guess I lost my key access, which is weird since the boxes never left my shelves (and this is the account I’m using since about forever). I could also play through my classic account without any issue.
I’ll try to contact support by another means then. If that fails, guess I’m back to 1.27b.

If you did not attach them to your account or demand a refund for Reforged then you are a victim of CD Key theft.
Under Classic Games there is meant to be an entry for Warcraft® III: Reign of Chaos® and Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne® and a License Key for each. In my case they are above Diablo II.
Unless both Warcraft® III: Reign of Chaos® and Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne® are under Classic Games in your account you will need Warcraft III Reforged to play Warcraft III.
