I am unable to play custom games with my friends. When I join their games I enter the lobby for a few seconds and then I am removed and the same thing happens when they try to join one of my games. Every other blizzard game I own works fine. Any help would be appreciated!
I have the exact same issue.
Exactly same problem. Either the other player get’s disconnected almost immediately, and he cannot be added either.
Same here. It’s impossible to play custom games
Same here, very disappointing.
i am have the same. trying to join a game for 20 min now with a friend and we tried all possible combinations (i make the game, he makes and we join a random)… so it looks like it’s on all lobbies.
and this was happening yesterday too…
in the morning today it was kind of better, although now it’s a complete nightmare.
i really hope Blizzard is reading this… they failed really hard since the launch.
TBH I think they should have postponed the release a few more weeks to months instead of releasing such a half-assed product.
I was having the exakt same issue, all I wanted to do, was play a Botgame with a friend of mine.
What happened: I got his invite, or saw the game he opened in the available game list and the second after I joined the game kicked me out of the lobby.
What I noticed: The Map folders where WC3 stores the game maps were douplicated.Meaning two FrozenThrone Folders Two Scenario and two Download. I Saw that when I tried to host a game.
What I did: My friend told me the map he was about to open, I deleted the Map from every mapfolder I found. As soon as i joined the game, WC3 downloaded the map from my friend and I was able to play.
What I assume: I think the reforged installation does no clean overwrite over the old WC3 tft installation files.
for single maps the trick i mentioned worked for me.
I now uninstalled wc3… looked for every single maps folder on my whole computer and deleted it afterwards (there was one in C\Users\My Documents i think…somewhere around there)
In addition to that, WC3 still needs TCP Ports 6112-6119 open to host a game
