I waited since October 8th to finally load my 3.0.1 save, and it won’t load. Is my progress entirely destroyed? If I reroll yet again to play Forsaken Kingdoms, how can I be sure all my progress won’t get wiped out again?
Old save files will not work after the new patch was released.

Sadly, i had to restart from scratch. Not the end of the world, I am having fun with the game, but it is insane I had to lose hours of gameplay. Even with warnings, the game just shouldn’t function that way. It puts players in a position where if there’s a patch within a week or so, they should not start playing Forsaken Kingdom or even a given Act. My recommendation to Blizzard would be to try to break up the Campaign into even more Acts, if possible. But, Acts just cannot be this long under this paradigm. I am hoping Blizzard makes some more WCIII content, perhaps a Dwarf Shaman story or deep-diving on other events leading up to WoW Forever, but if the game has to work as-is, they need to use shorter Acts.
