Can you play naga race in custom games?

i am noob and just saw a few youtube videos of people playing the naga race and a few others on a custom game. if this is possible how do i do this? thanks for clarification

Custom games can be any idea you can dream up. There are numerous maps that include them. You can search on the linked site for more.

The map itself needs to be written to include Naga as an option. You cannot add a “fifth” race, so your options are limited to:

  • Replacing an existing race at game-start.
  • Providing some method to select race after the game starts–Dialogs, unit-selectors, etc.
  • Explicitly restricting certain players to Naga.

Unfortunately, the Naga race was never fully fleshed out. So you might need to import custom models if you want to have upgradeable town-centers or anything of that nature.

There is a custom game “Warcraft 4” that accomplishes this via dialogue box after game start. Lots of custom races to choose from.

Custom games can be anything you want them to be.

There’s no in-game HUD for them but they do have the basics of a tech tree in place.
The only problem is to use them in a "normal’ kind of game, they would have take the place of one of the existing races (i.e. human becomes naga or whatever).

Naga can be played just in Ilidan campaign.
