Aoe 2 DE has a new AI that is so much better that 1 new AI can take on 7 old AI.
Can we get a new AI for wc3? I feel like some people like practicing strats or the game offline before moving online.
Having a harder and more realistic challenge will make better players and encourage newer players to stick to multiplayer after vesting AI.
you want the AI to be 7x more challenging than it currently is? are you able to beat the computer in a 1v1 on insane? My personal best is winning a 1v3 insane computers, and I have seen people beat more than that, but I dont see what benefit it would have to make the AI 7x better
I dont mean it literally lmao, I mean that it should be better, way better than the old AI.
its not about how hard the AI is, the way the AI plays, its still primitive, sometimes when u’r under attack by enemies AI, the allies AI are not aware,
HOTS AI are pretty good, more human like.
The AI in AoE2 was updated because it was quite literally brain dead, they would hit you with a “rush tactic” at the 45 minutes mark if the AI was feeling adventurous, WC3 was miles ahead of AoE2 at launch in this aspect and the new AoE2 AI still isn’t that good, certainly not as good as marketing said as 7v1 tests prove the old AI wins most of the time without even losing anybody, but at least it understands some basics better than the old AI
WC3 is in no need of new AI unlike AoE2
This is one thing that mods can actually fix. You can download smarter AIs. And with Reforged, you might be able to get some really good ones.
