Can we get a bearded Pitlord for melee?

Although I like new Pitlord models, I think they lack something. In original Warcraft 3, Pitlords, including Mannoroth had beards.

However, I think Mannoroth should stay beardless because I assume his in-game model was not fully canon, as he looked differently in cinematic.

I made a mock-up of how could bearded Pitlord look like in Reforged. I hope you enjoy it.

Lorewise they dont have beards. I dont know why they had in War3. I personally am glad they dont have beards. Their makeup is lizardlike so lizards dont have hair and even if they did it is bearly noticeable.

Current lore says Pitlords never had beards and the old model is non-canon.

They’re dinosaur centaurs, they don’t need facial hair.

They didnt even have in War3. Look at the cinematic with Thrall, Grom and Mannoroth or in any Blizz art depiction of them. So this is a big no no. Not counting the ingame model of the Pitlords, because we all know the game was all over the place with some things.

No. There is no lore statement that says they don’t have beards. It is like saying that Varian is unable to grow a beard because he didn’t have one.

Mannoroth didn’t have unique model. It is Tyrande case where character appears differently than his in-game model because Blizzard didn’t bother to make them unique before.

Other pitlords are other pitlords and they can have beards. Lack of them in WoW doesn’t matter.

I think he simply didn’t have a beard to make him easier to animate. Hairs have been a huge problem for animators since always.

All the Blizzard official art speaks for its self. You are in the minority in that regard.

This doesn’t speak at all. If we go this way, we know that night elves have moustache over their eyes.

Those are called eyebrows. You know those hairs you have above your eyes. Humanoids have them you know which Night elves are.

We cant have bearded pitlords because female pitlords cant grow beards, thats sexist and also discriminating to ask for …

You mean it is beard-ly noticeable, right? I know, i know

No. Young male night elves don’t have eyebrows. They grow with the rest of facial hair.

Old warcraft 3 had disgusting graphics and bearded pitlord is one example of that.

Tell me on what drugs you are on. I am fascinated from a scientific standpoint about someone not being able to see the difference from eyebrows and mustaches and parts of the face they are located on.

Reddit seems to have way different energy than this god forsaken place lol

Basically many people in the community believe bearded pit lord can be added with the entire skins system they are implementing in the game.

If you make enough of a fuss about it - it might catch on
