I really enjoyed the feel of seeing everyone having miniature sprite characters across battle.net games in diablo 2’s chat channels. If we could bring something like this back as an implementation to social interactions it would be so cool. It could also become apart of a progression reward system where people earn things for customized sprites. Just an idea pitch but I think a lot of people would like it.

Arent those weird icons meant for that purpose? Like how everyone is a peon, or everyone is a firelord, sometimes?

Those are portrait icons. I mean an actual SOCIAL HUB like the chat channel lobby in Diablo 2 which displayed character sprites for every individual connected to that channel, no matter from what game they are playing. I specifically want the social hub to include a Guild feature as well with the character sprites, just how diablo 3’s guild interface has it.
