This is so true. Blizzard, a company worth over 20 Billion, the single richest developer outside of Japan (excluding Microsoft for obvious reasons) and owner of several of the most loved and financially successful video game IPs in the world are now going to face serious issues hiring people because one artist either left or, more probably, got fired.
Seriously, I don’t know what some of you have been breathing but it isn’t oxygen.
look at the big picture. people would not want to work for a company if they consider it doomed. blizzard have had 2 blizzcons that have annoyed the community. developers might come from the community. they would not get a job at blizzard if they are annoyed by them.
You’re going to have to help me here I’m still trying to figure out how exactly Blizzard is doomed (again, still the richest developer in the west not named Microsoft). Yes Blizzcon 2018 was an outstanding failure. But 2019? Sure Shadowlands got a mixed reception because of Sylvannas soloing Bolvar but that wasn’t even a distraction from Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4.
Not to mention that WoW just had its best year since the WotLK era after Classic brought in the biggest subscriber boost in the games history.
it is not a matter of money but a matter of prestige. it is difficult to hire people when the company have a bad reputation. reputation is far more important than money.

guess you are not a developer but, i am. because of my bad reputation: i am unable to get people to join my project and need to do everything myself.
I love all the people always assuming the worst when someone leaves. This stuff is a team effort, not just one guy, this guy just guided the direction (which IMO he did a great job with it’s direction) Now it’s just polish. I literally do not see anything bad about this, just more community fear mongering.
I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t be a problem if you had billions to spend and several long-term IPs to your name.
Again, I’m struggling to see how Blizzard, one of the most successful video game mega-corporations in the world is taking a reputation hit because of one artist. On the back of one of the most successful years in the company’s history no less.
I Guess The panic comes from The fact that Brian is The only one that insist on give more content AFTER The release. So if he leave every chance to get more content after The release is gone .

think of the consequences of people leaving the company. people could accuse the company of treating their staff badly. that in return would make it difficult to hire people.
Riot Games just announced their biggest expansion in their decade of existence. 7 new IPs, expansive plans for TFT and a League of Legends anime series.
Are you familiar with the PR disaster the company faced last year? I wouldn’t even call it a PR disaster, it was a freaking public armageddon.
i barely know of the company. i have never gotten around to playing league of legends years after buying it.

that isnt gender swap since there r also male DK, and this is just beta, mostlikely in the future u can choose or turn off the skin just like starcraft2 did, when skin release on sc2 few years ago, some player also didnt like those skin so they make option to turn off the skin itself, but it still showed for those who prefer not to turn it off.
“Most Likely” does no mean anything at this point, since Blizz has walked out of actual promises they made. Why would I believe the ones they did not?

This is all not surprising to me, considering what I said in my new topic just a few minutes ago.
The only thing that Warcraft III classic will ever have now is either the campaigns, some dota on multiplayer, and 1v1 melee multiplayer, as the good old days of 4v4 on classic will be gone to be reduced to either 3v3 or 2v2 at most (which I will not even want to play 2v2), and other such disadvantages that classic will now have just because Reforged will exist; stealing, dividing and discouraging true Warcraft III players from playing both games altogether (like I said in my new topic)…
