Downloaded beta version of the game, and this message pops up when i enter the game. What is that?
edit: now it doesnt show up anymore, it simply locks me on the login screen like other people are reporting
Bonjour is for LAN play only. So if one is sticking to matching over the internet, it’s not needed. In SCR, it only pops up if the LAN option is selected and hopefully that will be the case with the released version WC3R.

i do that a lot. i mostly play on lan.
bonjour is retarded crapware, with it i cannot use fake lan to play with my friend, I refuse to use this ****
I dont understand, wc3 had the best and simplest LAN implementation, but they killed and removed it and replaced with bonjour, the worst solution ever.
bonjour is very resource heavy as well but, it is used in order to allow cross system compatibility. blizzard should however develop their own thing and not rely on third party software.
I do it on Starcraft when I want to do Team Melee/FFA against comps so I have bigger sized armies, oddly enough they don’t allow the Team Melee/FFA option in Single Player custom game mode. I like doing 3 Computers vs Me with 400 or 200/200 supply without having to go mind control a worker; they also seem to less likely bug out or under-develop when 2 or more AI are in control.
If you do 1vs1 both sides could get up to 800 supply if you’re just a single race by yourself. The AI does not take advantage of this however unfortunately.
