the blood elf models are great! I love Anasterian and Thalorien! I think they could be playable heroes!
With all models of units, heroes and buildings I think you could make a blood elf faction or have the option that the human faction has a skin of elves to play
Absolutely wonderful ! Wow ! They look even better than wow models
That’s because they’re designed to make use of cinematic designs.
I would love to have a reskins for all of the armies, like high elves instead of humans or humans made to look like a human kingdom other than Lordaeron.
You could do the same with orcs, having army reskins for different orc clans or fel orcs. I don’t know much about the differing groups in the other factions though, maybe blizz could offer a forsaken reskin for the undead and a watcher/various ranger corp reskins for the Night Elves.
However, Blizz would have to make sure these wouldn’t compromise the recognisability of different races and units in multiplayer due to the varying models, that could unbalance multiplayer if they did stuff it up somehow.
I gotta say, some of the reforged models have been done to perfection. That Spellbreaker, and the Dreadlord that was shown are prime examples. Absolutely gorgeous, and instantly recognizable as what they were in Classic.
The only model I absolutely 100% cannot reconcile with either Classic Warcraft 3 or WoW is the new owlbear/wildkin model.
That sh*t needs to be redone ASAP.
Totally agree. I can live with most of the models happily enough, I’m just trying to say that a few of them are just impeccably done, and just ooze that Warcraft 3 vibe of bad*ss-ness while still fitting with the semi-Cartoony theme.
Yes, I agree with that. Emulating the art style in the MOP cinematic was the right choice imo.
from my behalf; i wish to make them a stand alone faction rather than to skin…
But in another way; skin will be easier than make an additional faction…
I think it looks great too, but wasn’t there already enough models for a high elf/blood elf faction army in classic WC3?
I made custom armies in the world editor all the time and high elf was one of the easiest ones because they all already existed in the campaign.
Edit: also, what mission did Jennalla Deemspring appear in? I don’t remember her.
In King Arthas, where you destroy all remaining Human Refugees in Lordaeron Capital City
