Blocking/ignoring undesirable users

First: Does ignoring a user on battle.net block their chat in-game in Warcraft III?
Second: When you right click on a user in the chat window, there is an option to ignore them (which works across battle.net) but this option is only listed for users in the chat channel user list. For other users, such as people on the “recently played with” list, this option isn’t listed. Is there a text command that will accomplish this for users in this situation and will this be effective at preventing their chat while in-game?

So far I’ve only been able to ignore people via the context menu. i tried entering various text commands like /ignore /squelch /block but all resulted in “command not recognized”. Because there’s no auto complete feature like Diablo II has, I have no idea what the text commands are at all, actually.

So now you admit is not working ?
Yes we want a solution Blizzard !
In the meantime, you can play Diablo2!

I’m not “admitting” anything. I’ve always used the menu, and I only just now discovered that the context menu is not the same in all places where you can click on someone’s name.

Why are you being such a jerk?
