Can we hope for such a thing? Just deliver on what was promised, end of story.
How are they still using misleading marketing footage that is touted as in-game footage, yet never appears in game? It has been a whole year and they have yet to deliver on any promise originally made in a meaningful way. How is this legal?

Blizzard logic is: “You can refund so you cannot expect anything of us. Now be silent”.

So WC3 is officially dead and they will deliver on none of what they promised? Sounds like another reason to never, ever give them money.
What does anyone need Blizzard for anyways?
Team Fortress 2 (and 10 other clones) > Overwatch
Path of Exile > Diablo
Magic The Gathering > Hearthstone
Any MMO > WoW
Warcraft 3 was one of the few things keeping me attached to Blizzard, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for an entire year and still nothing has changed; if this is how they treat their consumers and their own IP, sorry, not sorry but I’m over it.
I won’t buy another Blizzard/Activision title for the foreseeable future as they have nothing on their 5+ year roadmap that indicates they will do anything to correct the wrongs they have inflicted upon their fanbase.

Can’t quote your name because it has Jgg in it.
Team Fortress 2 (and 10 other clones) > Overwatch
Nope.
Path of Exile > Diablo
About mechanics: yep. The rest: nope.
Magic The Gathering > Hearthstone
Both games are bullsh.
Any MMO > WoW
Nope. Absolutely nope. Never been like this and isn’t, but:
Any RPG > WoW
Yep.
Totally agree that they left Warcraft 3 in a state as bad as it has never been before. There’s never been a Blizzard game left out to die before and it’s a shame it’s hitting Warcraft 3: The game which made Warcraft popular enough to make WoW a success. Probably the most important game Blizzard has ever released.

Hope there will be enough people to follow you or at least wait if Activision Blizzard actually delivered a game worth playing - not only to spend money in.

all we know is that Blizzard has replaced their Classic Games Team. That team was also working on a Diablo 2 remaster and you know we can’t not have that. So hopefully we get some word about both these projects.

Let’s be realistic girls.
WoW and Hearthstone drink from W3.
The majority of the important or Iconic characters come out of the W3. Look at the new spancion you have Uteher, Kael, Vash, Shyvana and Tyrande.
plus one or two new pj and Anduin.

not a single slot in Blizzcon mentions warcraft = W3:R is dead with 99,9% certainty … remaining 0.1% is fools hope that blizzard will restart its development again this year.

It would be great if Blizzard just outsource the game to the same WC3Champions. They have already made a normal ladder, which the official developer has promised for almost a year. If Blizzard would give WC3Champions all the resources, then I am sure that they will improve the technical and visual part (I still don’t see normal post-processing after a year).

If Jason Schreier is trustworthy, then there may be a ray of hope:
A spokesperson wouldn’t confirm who is handling continued development of Warcraft III: Reforged but said “we are still committed to updates in support of the community.
That’s from less than a month ago.
It is likely that some work on Reforged will occur in the future. However due to changes in teams it is possible it may take a few months before these start to be announced.
Like wise HotS is still likely getting content made for it, but has nothing to announce as of yet.

We know that the original Classic Games Team was replaced, and a Diablo 2 reforge was in production.
As far as I know, Blizzard is at least partially doing this so they can shut down legacy battle.net, so I think they intend to see these projects through. Whether that means we’ll get a re-remaster for warcraft 2 and diablo 1 though is anyone’s guess.
Set sail to some other plains.
CDPR’s Cyberpunk is more than playable (at least for PC) ; they ironed out some bugs, story is great, and they are committed to improving things.
Dreamhaven and Frostgiant give me optimism.
I won’t ever preorder anything from Blizzard ever again. It seems that the woke politics, money grabbing and lootboxes from the mobile players are much more important than the loyal, faithful fans.
No problemo, I know already I won’t pay to play Diablo: Pay2WinMortal, nor Diablo IV: New Auction House microtransaction edition.
I am passed the point of disappointment, it seems I’m no longer the demographic for Blizzard games (and haven’t been for a while, to be honest). Overwatch is crap (IMHO, I’m 40) compared to CS:Go (which I’m not playing anymore either) and I just wanted to see some nice remakes (Ghost shooter, Warcraft I and 2 4K, Warcraft III properly supported, Diablo 2 Remastered).
As long as Blizzard doesn’t fix Warcraft III, I’m not buying anything anymore.
Furthermore, considering the Starcraft franchise mothball (which, coincidentally, happened in the same year as the 10th year anniversary) all I see on the line are mobile, mobile, mobile, skins and so on. That and the CoD which I am not touching ever, since the “pay-for-skins” seems just as predatory as lootboxes considering the fact that Acti is raking in profit.
Nothing new, move along, I’m old and tired of waiting for some good news for the hardcore PC players.

This, Warcraft 3 is likely the most important game in Blizzard history. It spawned the lore for their most profitable titles and created a huge wake in the industry even if you don’t know it. If they cannot even remake the game with the quality of at least what was originally promised, how can I expect them to support any title they ever make again?
I’m OK with killing legacy Battle.net so long as we’re not losing important features that were already available on the old client we own (which is technically dead forever now). Diablo 2: Resurrection (remaster or whatever they name it) will likely have a much more clean slate than WC3:R (like no inherent need/promise to support legacy mods/custom maps). That is still no excuse for still not having what was originally promised in WC3:R. Undersell and overdeliver, if you do the opposite, at least put in the investment and make it right. Even continuing to fix small bugs won’t be enough. At this point, it is just a $30 texture pack.
Regardless of what Jason Schreier said, I just cannot see them actually investing in bringing the campaign updates they originally promised now that the game has been out for a whole year. It’s like still expecting single player DLC out of GTAV/RDR2 in 2021, it’s just not gonna happen. With no mention of Warcraft at Blizzcon, I feel dreadfully confident in this presumption.
Blizzard, prove me wrong. You won’t.

theres still a little bit of hope of them announcing that vicarious visions will do something to reforged.
but im expecting 9,8 out of 10 to not see anything wc3 related, instead pushing presale of diablo2 and diablo4.

Well it is online… some nice ddos should show them how playing on their server feels…
but I still bet on them showing some quencing mod and w3champions screenshot to prove “how much the community is still active”

Allen Adham hoped to obtain a license to the Warhammer universe to try to increase sales by brand recognition. Warhammer was a huge inspiration for the art-style of Warcraft.

I’m glad GameWorkshop didn’t put the Warhammer universe under Blizzard control.

online card games in general are stupid.MTGO (the original) in particular was stupid because they charged the exact same price for digital cards as physical ones, which don’t have the costs associated with printing physical objects.
