Quite smart move from blizzard to not waste time developing a new campaign for people who will play the game for a month or two and instead focusing on polishing the game for people who will stick around for years to come.
I played wc3 for 15 years because of Cgs and multiplayer not campaign.
If you want crap like shadowlands you came to the wrong place.
Also if you are unhappy with this change you can refund the game : )

. When I’m happy with a product I don’t write a message to the company to congratulate and praise them because that usually just works against us customers. They need to keep working hard so they deliver us great things instead of getting lazy and use some false advertising. I don’t care about the 40 $, what I want is a great game.
They’re redoing the maps so it’s not false advertising. Most people do NOT want new voices.

I believe not having a campaign that uses the garbage wow lore is a great improvement over what they “promised” with a subject to change text to us.

I Play Warcraft 3 for a long time and i am sticking around. But i would have loved that new campaign. Such a shame that is isn’t coming
The maps are new , there are new easter eggs and different number of units. Only story and voices are same as it should be.
Kamran is right in some way. We really dont need big changes in campaign (but there will be some changes anyway) because thats not the thing that will make warcraft 3 live on for next 10+ years, its actually all about what community can do with engine and how to best use new world editor and what new capabilities will it have. Think about it, campaign is one time play but with right tools and right community and moders you will have much more fun with something that moders offered us.
Just watched blizzcon reforged deep dive, DEVs are here and they listening to feedback, they are really focusing on lifespan of game and engine so they are going right direction, think about it.

BTW: I’m all for new changes to the original, as long as they’re creative, interesting and fun and as long as it doesn’t do any damage to the original story. But “new” means new in my vocabulary. “New” doesn’t include adding wow lore into wc3, that’s not new. Just my 2 cents.
