If any integrity on bnet is meant to exist, please ban the drop hackers.
There are no drop hackers. Dropping players doesnât even exist since Reforged. Yeah, people do crash or disconnect or quit at the start of games, but itâs not the result of anyone hacking lol.
If you think itâs real, then please present your evidence.
The ladder is evidence. Yaun has 500 games and his total end game score is 0 in every single one because hes not actually playing the games. He is also shown as gaining 100s of mmr per win but he is only in Elite league. Why do you constantly comment on things that you know nothing about?
Because I do know about them. And while the stuff you say might appear suspicious, it doesnât really prove anything. What would prove it is proving the actual existence of a âhackâ that drops players itself.
We all know how broken the ladder system is, games somteimes dont get reported, sometimes the data is corrupt, etc. so that isnât enough by itself.
the âleagueâ youâre in is based only on MMR and nothing else, you canât be in a league without being in that leagueâs MMR range.
CLearly something is messed up, but your conclusion is flawed. Unless you can prove the existence of the âdrop hackâ itself, all you have is a suspicion.
Iâll be the first to agree with you that something smells funny with some of the names on the leaderboard, but the information available doesnât allow me to give a concrete reason why.
I just had a look at this âYaunâ guy and tbh there is something fishy about it. He wins every game, but doesnât even make heroes/units nor he collects gold/lumber all game. Everything is on â0â even in games 10 minute games. He still won those though. This canât be a coincidence tbh.
Yes seems really weird. I hope there is some staff reading all those articles.
Perhaps not. But you canât have a non-zero score if the game actually starts, and I donât think the system will record matches that never actually start. Which is why I question that the reason for this is âdrop hacks.â Donât get me wrong, thereâs something rotten in Denmark here, but whenever accusations of hacking get thrown around , Iâd really like to see some evidence that such hacks actually exist.
Of course you can have a â0â score in a game where you are literally not doing anything (by not mining, not building, not moving, etc.). And this guy âwinsâ games as long as 10 to 12 minutesâŚ
And supposedly there do exist drophacks on, at least, one russian forum. I wonât post the link here. But subscription is 25$/month. However, I have no idea, if those work.
Anyway, my guess is that he triggers the âhackâ as soon as the enemy scouts him and dares to get close to his base, hence this might be the reason for the different match lengths in his match history. (Not all players scout/attack enemies in the first 5 minutes, if they arenât attacked by the opponent themselves.)
Btw, the system yes does also record games that have never been played. It happens rarely, but it does happen. In my case, I received a loss from a match I never played after the matchmaking system found a game (1), but didnât join in (2), then it cancelled the search (3) and automatically re-queued me (4). Meanwhile the system gave me a loss. Itâs probably some weirdo bug, of so many others, but yes, it happens and tbh itâs no surpriseâŚ
Unfortunately, bnet is not moderated at all. So donât expect anything. Simply have a good laugh about people who actively have to abuse the system of a 20 y/o game with a tiny community in order to make them feel better in life lol
Incorrect. The moment you enter the game, your score is not zero, as you have points from the resources you start the game with.
There is almost certainly cheating taking place here, but the suggestion that there is a âdrop hackâ and theyâre achieving this by dropping players is misguided from what I can see. Youâd think if someone was going around making other ppl get dropped from the game, that Iâd have witnessed it at least onceâŚ
Sorry to say that, but you are incorrect on the resources score. This score type is the result of gold and lumber mined and traded plus the technology percentage. Look it up or try it yourself.
A good example for that is the latest match of âYaunâ vs. some chinese player on 25/01/08 that lasted 01:58. The chinese player didnât collect gold, but 30 lumber before the game ended. Hence his resource score is 30. The initial resources at the game start arenât included. The score table is pretty clear about it and simple to comprehend.
And concerning your disbelief about âdrop hackâ: To be honest, this is the most probable scenario that happens here.
Since this âYaunâ player doesnât literally play at all (not building, not mining, no combat units, no heroes, etc.), how is he supposed to win vs. many different other players all the time? You think all of his opponents say to themselves: âOh I am 10 minutes into the game, and look, this guy has only 1 main and 5 idling wisps, letâs just ALT-QQ and give him the win.â? That would be really misguidingÂł.
Iâm not incorrect. I literally just tested it before making the post. Try again.
Yes, there have been times where I ended up talking out my rear, but this was not one of them.
Try it yourself. Start any Melee game. Doesnât matter whether itâs ranked or single player or custom. The instant the game starts, your score is not zero. You can quit right then and there (without clicking on or doing anything at all) and your score will not be zero.
The starting resources are included in your score. The only way to have a zero score is for the game to not start at all. But if it doesnât start, it shouldnât be recorded.
Dude, you are definitely incorrect about the resources score table topic. I just tested it with a single player game (but it is the same for multiplayer games too, as proved with my previous âchinese playerâ example).
Do it: Create a game, join it, donât mine nor collect lumber, leave the game, and see the resources column of the game. It is literally 0.
Repeating yourself wonât suddenly make it true. I literally just tested it, and if you did you would see I am correct. I clicked start game. Hit Quit immediately at the start of the game, and you will see my score is greater than zero.

Which column has numbers in it is irrelevant. The score is not zero. I did misstate that it was specifically the resource score, which it wasnât, it was the unit score (and by extension, the total score).
The point was, and remains: You cannot start a game and have zero score.
I got it. Your problem is âreading comprehensionâ. I/we spoke about the RESOURCES !!! column (I marked it before already), not about the overall score.
You said that score isnât 0 due to the initial resources. This is incorrect. Score isnât 0 due to the unit points. Your own screenshot shows it. lol
I have excellent reading comprehension. I made an error in phrasing. But that error is not relevant to the issue at hand. The TOTAL SCORE is what matters, which is the sum of all three of the other colums, which is not zero, therefore you cannot start a game and have non zero score.
We are humans and we make mistakes. That doesnât mean we âlack reading comprehensionâ or are stupid or anything else. Even the smartest people in the world still make mistakes.
Your attempt to insult me by the fact I did not use precise language falls flat on its face. You are grasping at straws to make me look bad.
The original point I was making was that you canât start a game and have a zero score. the UNIT (not resource, my error) score will never be zero.
âThe overall score is the sum of all sub-score columnsââŚNo sh*t, SherlockâŚ
It is no problem to make a mistake. Just say âah yesâ and thatâs it. It is not a biggie and I am not questioning gravity here. Donât be so defensive
We clearly talked about 2 different subjects. But anyway, yes, overall score canât be 0. Thatâs something that makes even weirder that this guy has overall scores of 0, but at the same time games with game lengths of up to 12 min.
If itâs not a problem then why were you insulting about it?
You argued with me over a technicality. Even though I made a mistake, it didnât detract from the point I was trying to make.
It wasnât an insult. I simply stated that you have a problem with reading comprehension concerning this specific subject. Something that you admitted yourself due to making a mistake. And thereâs no problem at all with that, but your follow-up drama is. And that is something I donât want to waste my time on. Have a good day
You canât call someone out for âreading comprehensionâ and have it not be an insult.
It is an insult- Do not tell people this. Making an error does not amount to a lack of reading comprehension. I never admitted to a lack of reading comprehension because thatâs not true. As far as Iâm concerned, whether it is in reference to me or anyone else, it is equivalent to calling someone stupid/dumb/etc.
Say âI think you made a mistake, and what you meant to say was ______.â
Please do not use that phrase if you want to bring such a mistake to someoneâs intention. I will accept from you that this wasnât your intention.
This is not âfollow up drama.â This is you attacking someone and me defensively reacting.
I donât want drama, I didnât come here for drama. But I also didnât come here to be personally attacked. So now you know. Do not accuse people of lacking reading comprehension.
