Bllizard WC3 balance team is doing great job of balancing the game introducing new meta s strategy’s new viable heroes and on.
Thanks to balance team game is in terms of balance and new strategy’s at the best state it ever was.
Back 2 Warcraft casters have mostly very bad influence of development of wc3 R.
B2W ppl are mostly trap in the mindset of meta (how game work not how game could should work)
They take most of the time to conservative approach to the game development and not prone to some key changes that game may need to reach new lvls of fun and game design…
Also they dont understand game design example Druid of talon is spell caster unit and by definition should be support unit but they are pushing for mass Talon strategy as good design …
Booth of B2W casters are Undead main players and look at the game from Undead race perspective and giving their feedback true the eyes of undead player…
As an Orc player i was ok with Blademaster nerf cose i know that Undead was under-powered vs Orc players and that was ok.
But for a long time Undead especially Death Knight ability (offensive) Death Coil is the strongest ability in the game (easy hero nuke) .
And nobody from B2W argue abut Und being OP race.
And point out clear spell that is breaking the game…
So dont listen to them keep a good work on balancing the game try new things add removing some items and on maybe some good economy changes to the game hero reworks and on KEEP A GOOD WORK BLIZZARD… Ty for reading

This is a common problem at the highest levels of play, they want only their strategies to work and only consider the game “balanced” if X strategy/r/ace consitsetnly beats Y strategy/race, etc.
Many studios have found they can provide a reasonable level of balance regardless of skill level. For instance, Riot produces patch notes for League of Legends that indicate when a balance issue affects a certain level of player more than another, and target their balance changes to try to address those skill-level specific issues without affecting the play at other levels.

Yes if for few pro players and B2W casters we would still play 1.26 v not 1.36 v
.
They are stuck in their meta mindset box how game works right now not including how new changes effect the game and creating new meta s for them is bad thing …
For example Blood mage was never used MK clap was not a good spell Shamans headhunters were never used (hh only vs Und) and on…
So game was change so much and have a lot of room to grow.
For example game suffers (as an RTS) have problem of expending in wc3 is just to hard (to hard to build (to long) and to easy to cancel) and also its to punishing if your expo is cancelled…
So making expending strategic choice more rewording and less punishing is good for WC3 acros all 4 races.
Today we see more 2 base play but still its clunky compare to other RTS games.
As for game design massing one unit tipe is bad design (example Mass talons driads Head hunters and on)
Oppressive units like Siege engines should be reworked in wc3 because they produce bad gameplay to play and to watch (for e sports).
The best wc3 match-up example is Hu vs Ne where you see combined arms forces a lot of hero and unite diversity 1 base 2 base play and on…
There is some core design changes like maybe reducing Expo build time of all 4 races by 10% or 15% would be good for the game…A lot of units and spell reworks would be good …
Games like LOL DOTA are do great changes reworks game design changes that make game all around better why not wc3 when its one of the best most unique RTS out their that have great potential…

Haha i dont think that is a good idea… 4 asymmetric races are enough in my opinion.
But WC3 have some clear problems in terms of design balance and Ui (that need modernisation)
In terms of design game is lacking (as an RTS) expending is to hard and to easy to cancel (also to punishing)
Its better then before you can see more 2 base play.
Macroing is limited and strategy’s are around 50 sup army’s and restricted due to hard punishing Upkeep mechanics.
Und as a race playing Moba with destroyers and other races actually play RTS game (Rework or redesign Und as a race)
Massing one unit type is bad design (mass talons dryads head hunters and on)
As for Ui WC3 need clock timer (as all other RTS on the market) it need unit selection group extended from 12 to 16 or 24…
Maybe quality of life change auto mining workers at the start of the game and on…
There is a lot of room where WC3R could grow but ppl like B2W are just pushing game back instead of looking foreword and they are bad influence on the game…

What you’re saying is so wrong… Only an ignorant can make those statements… B2W always has been fighting for the game to be more diversified and balanced no matter what the race they play… Thanks to B2W, every fan of the game can appreciate the beauty and the diversity of the different strategys/build/openings/meta and learn more about the game to be a more complete player. They have been one of the most powerfull engine of the good health of the game for more than 10 years spreading all of this diversity of strategies by sharing them/ casting them / descripting, explicating them. Warcraft 3 is a game of unlimited beauty with an infinity of possible strategies to play even at the pro lvl, Lyn/Sok/Fortitude/Kaho/Starbuck/Moon/Lawliet/focus/Foggy/Happy (and many others ) are still prooving it every time they show up. Where ? You know where, we (lovers of the game) all know where we can watch the bests players of the world reinventing the meta every game : On Back2Warcraft Hell yeah
You can’t just say stuff like that without elaborating on what makes it wrong and what you think is correct.

Topic starter is 100% on point.
These streamers play Undead, and always want to buff their race and nerf human to the ground.
There are even their interviews from the dead era of wc3 (~2013-2015), when they interview mediocre european players like Cechi and Nicker that whine about human being imba, because they were losing to Infi and TH000, one of the best players to ever play the game. B2W agreed with them, and wanted to destroy human race even then.
Their goal is achieved, humans are pretty much deleted from the pro scene, but still they don’t want any improvements for this race in the patch, and sadly balance team listens to them for some reason.

I think game have bigger design problems then the balance .
- Hard to expend easy to cancel (reducing expo build time across all 4 races 10 to 15%)
- Upkeep mechanics choking proper macro
- Game is focus around 50 sup army s are limiting strategy potential and influencing balance.
- Item stacking (same item type) can make hero unit OP.
- Bad designed units and spells (massing 1 unit type is bad design)
As for B2W they are Undead players and Und byes.
They influence on balance is sometimes good and informitable (about state of game and meta s) but most of the times they are looking at the game from Und perspective .
You can look at the game when they B2W start influencing balance of the game Orc is getting destroyed by Und Humans are terrible and Ne until talons buff they also didnt have chance against Und…
Me as an Orc player we know that Blademaster was OP vs Und and should get nerfed.
But Undead Death Knight (death coil) is the most OP spell in the game and Destroyers as a unit is the best unit in the game and both deserve a nerf (maybe Unded need expo buff or something in compensation)
Some people realy can’t see trees in a forest. Whatever, haters gonna hate.

Everyone is welcome to their opinions. But I do agree that the balancing tends to cater to what the pros want rather than what would result in a smoother experience for everyone who enjoys the game, even though the pros are a very small portion of the total userbase. Contrary to the belief of some here, balancing only for the pros does not automatically mean the game will be balanced for the everyday players who enjoy this game a lot. Players in different skill brackets will be impacted differently by changes, and it isn’t guaranteed that balanced matchups at the pro level will be balanced at any level below that.

Instead of balancing the game (wc3r) to make game better in general more fun to play to watch.
They (b2w) are stuck in the Undead balance box (forest) and they cant see trees (what game could be should be)
Also they are influencing game balance from perspective of the worst designed race in the game (Undead) and instead of game progressing game is geting worse by buffing staf around Undead instead of reworking or nerfing Undead…(example Hu Knights)
When they start influencing balance of the game Blademaster was nerfed to the ground ,Demon Hunter was nerfed to the ground,Arhimage is nerfed to the ground…
Gues what hero was not touched at all ?If you guess Death Knight you were wright most op spell in the game Death coil is the same as 20 years ago Destroyers most op in the unit by far …

the Death Knight is overpowered with the skills Coil and Aura.
- These skills make the DK nuke and healing abilities very strong, unlike the Paladin who can only nuke undead.
- The DK aura works continuously, making it powerful for moving around the map, unlike paladin’s that is good only in the battle.
This, combined with Obsidian Statues, makes it easy to win, especially against Elves.
People literally playing with left foot and ez win in the matchup undead vs elves.
The quote from french pro undead player 2 years ago (possibly Krav but I’m not sure):
“You simply can’t lose as undead vs elves. This matchup is broken.”

You spend the first part of your post comparing the DK to the paladin, but then you talk about how it’s strong against elves. What does the paladin have to do with how well the DK does against elves?

Exactly you are wright.
Argument about balancing game on pro lvl especially on pro lvl DK and Destroyers are the most op units in the game.
But this is not just about Undead not getting nerfed reworked as a race by B2W casters influencing balance.
But this is about them shaping game in wrong way so Undead dont get changed nerfed.
Good example is Human Knights buff against medium armour upgrade (its bad design) and that change to unit was directly influenced by B2W casters to help HU vs Und balance.
But then blizzard slightly nerfed DK movement speed aura and now Knights are problem for Undead…
So you can clearly see B2W bad influence on balance of the game and balancing around UND undead instead of changing reworking nerfing them they are changing all other races around them…
B2W feedback is mostly bad for the game (they know meta but they dont know design) and they are UND byes.
