Are MOBA maps more fun than Co-Op RPGs

I’ve made a very complex RPG map, but most players give up and quit before they even beat the first boss. I have like 10 main quest boss fights made and 3 “Super Boss” fights. So far, only one team has completed the game.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: If the answer is ‘Yes’ I can make a good MOBA map. I know a few tricks I’ve never seen anyone use before.

When it comes to custom games within war3, most people don’t really want long drawn-out experiences. Instead of making one big map that people have to commit to a fair bit of time to be able to play and complete, consider breaking it down into smaller sections so it’s easy to play each one in one sitting.

This would be less of a problem if multiplayer game saves were available, but that is the one remaining feature that’s still disabled. Frankly though, I think it’s because even single player game saves are rather buggy right now.

I know how t o write muy own password save feature/ i just havent done it in 20 years.

Big games take a while to fill, and these days people just want a quick play through like 7 illidans, so anything bigger than that will have people leaving the game before it is filled.
