You guys released Warcraft III Reforged for macOS. Your Mac gamers (yes, we do exist) love playing it and all of the other titles available for macOS. Apple has announced that Rosetta 2 is being deprecated and won’t be around next year for macOS 28. Please update both this game and the Battle.net app to natively run on Macs with Apple Silicon! If you can also update the macOS version of the classic 1.29.2 client to run on Apple Silicon too, I would also be appreciative, but I know beggars can’t be choosers. In the meantime, Warcraft III Reforged runs like crap on my M1 Mac mini and that just seems…wrong.
Oh Yes.. Microsoft has their best engineers working around the clock to make their legacy games compatible for Macs.. Microsoft/Activision/Blizzard quiet quit the MAC community..
And they will be more than happy to point the finger at apple when they drop support for Rosetta 2.
If “Mac support is dead” for blizzard was really true, then why would they release WoW Forever Beta with macOS support from day one… Oh and it fully supports arm64, like classic and retail WoW do.
They clearly have some devs that do now how to port for Mac, they just need to get more behind it. They also have PLENTY of devs that do Xcode for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS. Look at all the Microsoft apps that are available on all of those platforms, including games like Diablo Immortal.
Another Mac user that is also interested!
They just released a native Mac version of Age of Empires 2 DE in May.
