Anyone have a good competitive RTS to play?

Not a troll post. I was expecting to have one to play in wc3 again but that’s obviously not the case (see any of the 10 hate posts above or below this thread.) Any recommendations? I’m done with Blizz.

Supreme Commander, Company of Heroes (The first one), Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars … but yeah, if you look for something with fantasy-elements, you will hardly find something like the (old!) Warcraft - maybe Spellforce? (But i never liked it)

Or you wait for Iron Harvest - Release Date is 1. Sep 2020 (its Dieselpunk-Genre)

How did you refund it? I put in a ticket and they marked it resolved with no response or action.

StarCraft II.

Age of Empires 2: DE is the most popular.
Dawn of War 2 with Elite mod is still the most successful RTT.
Company of Heroes 2 has a large community.
Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is also a good choice, with a live community on FAF.
Starcraft 2 is the Blizzard option.
Total War Warhammer 2 has a growing MP community, for the RTS battles.

I bought the game last night. I refunded it today, about 14 hours later. It was put through automatically.

In the United States, law dictates you are allowed to refund any non-perishable or value decreased product within 24 hours; I imagine Blizzard is just following the law.

Spellforce 3 scratches the wacraft 3 itch in singleplayer ! I would say the missions in spellforce 3 are on the level of warcraft 3

The RPG component on Spellforce 3 is way better than in Warcraft 3.

Spellforce 3 is an amazing RTS with heroes and real time strategy elements . The game is a masterpiece in my opinion

One of the best times to get into AoE 2 with the DE. Tons of people playing and seeing as even the HD version was alive and well for so long, it has a bright future ahead. Active development too.

It is. It also has real diversity, instead of the corporate Hollywood grating type.

Aoe 2 is a masterpiece also. The remaster is not a cash grab like Reforged

YES!

They just changed the Khmer to not need mills, making them the second best farmers in the game.
The DE devs are not afraid of changing up the gameplay, to make civs more unique, yet balanced, because they know their game.
