Advice. Differences between PTR 1.31 and last pre reforged build

Hey people. Want to ask you for help and advice if possible.

  1. So to start, as the title states, what are and are there any differences between the last ptr build, which is still available for download, and the last pre reforged version (was it 1.31 too?). Are they the same changes wise?

  2. Is the LAN funtionality in the ptr build working?

  3. If i have to choose between 1.27b (the last possible patch update currently for the retail version) or the ptr 1.31 build, which should i choose in general?

Actual singleplayer custom maps and skirmishes are gone aswell

Hey, thank you for the input, but i am not sure what you mean. Is that a diference between the ptr build and the last pre reforged build?

1.31 was the last pre reforged build.

Hey, thanks for the inpit. So the current ptr build is 1.31 and the last pre reforged is 1.31. Sadly, this is not helping me much. Still thank you for the input. :slight_smile:

Pretty sure 1.27/1.27b & 1.31 have LAN functionality. I would choose 1.31 on the ptr just because you still have connectivity and the ability to play with others without LAN there, whereas 1.27/1.27b would require different servers to accomplish that.

Thanks :). So am i correct that in your oppinion ptr 1.31 is the best option overall (singleplayer and multiplayer), and that in case blizzard cut the online functionality in it (like they did for the normal 1.31 build), i will be able to play LAN games using the ptr build in the future? Thank you in advance :slight_smile:

Yep, that’s right. Make backups! PTR won’t be up forever unfortunately. :frowning:
