Additional Campaign DLC

The game should’ve been released as a $10 skin with DLC packs for every expansion in WoW.

I’ve been playing the campaign over again and i am enjoying it a lot. It would’ve been cool to see additional campaigns for each expansion of WoW. I would’ve been fine paying $15-$20 for each DLC.

If blizzard wanted to milk us for our money this would’ve been the best way to do it.

Additional campaigns? That’s literally what the map editor is for.

I love how you put a price of $10.00 on it… Meanwhile I sold a single knife skin in cs go for $130.00. This entire game is worth more than that dumb knife skin lol.

Those are not comparable. That knife skin is a product of gambling and has limited supply on the market. This game has a limitless supply.

I’d love to see like a Tirion Fordring, Scarlet Crusade Silver Hand Ashbringer type campaign

you are basically asking for a whole new game… how many WoW expansions are there? you can bet your house they wont be making that many DLCs for WC3.

we would be lucky to get 1-2 DLCs… personally I would like a Co-op campaign DLC, and a multiplayer DLC… but I don’t even have high hopes for that happening at this point

multiple campaign DLCs might be popular amongst WoW players, but WC3 has thrived on multiplayer, that’s what has kept this game alive for 18+ years, not the single player mode

plus theres literally thousands of maps made by fans that are quite fun to play, and its even possible for you to make your own! Im sure many new map makers will be making WoW stuff in Reforged over the next few years, just gotta be patient

no, that’s what individual hero skins are for. Campaign DLCs would take a lot more work and cost a lot more than just $15-$20 unless you want each “campaign” to be a single level that takes 1-2hours to complete

All the people that made that campaign amazing are long gone from working at activision-activision.

Okay, that’s less an argument for how much this game should cost and more an argument for how insane the CS go community is for what they’re willing to pay for. But, also consider the number of hours it takes to find those rare skins. If you had spent those hours at an entry level job instead of playing for skins, you probably could have made $1000. Much more than the $130 you made.

For the record, I think the original price for the game was fine, considering what they initially told us the reforged would include, considering the work they were putting into it. Since they scrapped a lot of it and gave us just a skin pack, I think a better price would have been $20 for the game. I’m not comparing it to skins from other games. I’m comparing it to the prices of similar games that are just as old as WC3 and also to the price of the remaster of StarCraft. Which was also mostly just a graphical update.

All I’m saying is I don’t think the 30$ I spent for the game is a whole lot considering everything that comes along with it. Once the ladder and profiles are implemented I will have received everything I had planned on getting.

First let them put Warcraft 1 and 2.

Then we can talk about WoW.

WoW is a dangerous argument here.

Some people don’t like the direction of WoW lore. Even when blizzard state “you already have Warcraft 4. It’s WoW” they continue to say that only a Warcraft 4 can continue the lore of Warcraft 3.

What you asking you can have with custom campaign. For now let us hope for Warcraft 1 and 2 content.

Then, who knows.

I wouldn’t mind seeing some 1st and 2nd War Campaigns. Save continuing the Warcraft 3 Story in a new direction for Warcraft 4

Wc1 is not worth remaking, theres nothing there to turn it into a substantially popular game, especially for multiplayer… Now maybe they could make an all new game like WC0 and make it a prequel or something, but they wont be adding WC1 into WC3

Additionally, WC2 is already playable within WC3 custom maps. Look on youtube

Now obviously, its not quite as nice looking as the original WC2, in fact the original WC2 is perfect and looks amazing even to this day! it doesn’t need to be changed, and you can still play it online today for $10 @ Gog. com

Yeah, would of loved to play WOTLK in Warcraft 3.

I would like to see campaigns based on the WoW story. I have a lot of ideas myself on how it can be pulled off and still work out as a strategy game. I would also post some of my ideas here but I have no idea where to start.

But before any of that was to be done, I honestly would prefer to see campaigns based on the past lore of the games. For events like Rise of the Black Empire, War of the Three Hammers and War of the Shifting Sand.

Then possibly do the first and second wars, events between the 2nd and 3rd games like Lord of the Clans and War of the Spider. Then anything between TFT and WoW like how the Scarlet Crusade or the Twilight Hammer grew to power.

Considering that Starcraft Remastered hasn’t gotten any new campaigns yet and how this game got a much worse reception, it’s unlikely that Reforged will get any or not for awhile at the very least. Best this game may get is aesthetic stuff like unit and user interface skins, or possibly different voices like how Starcraft Remastered got different announcer voices.

But they got SC2, which is kind of the equivalent of getting WC4. WC3 got WoW, an MMORPG with tonnes of lore that could be taken and placed in rts campaign form.

It’s not really comparable.

If you search for Day of the Dragon, Lord of the Clans or The Last Guardian on hiveworkshop. com you will find some fan-made campaigns based on WC novels set during WC1 or between WC2 and WC3.
…But worthless now without campaign support.

I don’t really like the idea of campaigns through custom games because to be honest. Part of the fun playing campaign again is the portraits you unlock. I’d like official blizzard releases. Like a hearthstone release schedule. They release expansions what? 2-3 times a year? I’m not even asking for cinematic angles. Just stick with the regular talking heads and simple camera angles.

Focus on heroes and think of all the “champions” as regular units. I’m sure there are smarter people than me that could do it justice!
