Because they turned into a greedy corporation. What was left of Blizzard from Blizzard North is but a hollow shell.

Probably, that’s how greedy corporations work. They buy out games that are loved by a huge group of people, they halt/slow the development because they have their own goals. Essentially, they milk the games until gamers/shareholders aren’t interested anymore. Sadly, the gaming industry isn’t sustainable. When you make craptonnes of money off AAA gaming titles, corporations have a standard where they aim to have a higher profit to lure in shareholders. This requires Blizzard to resort to cash nabbing and sleazy money making methods, like false advertising and underage gambling.
It’s a valuable lesson learned, though. Never prepurchase games, especially from greedy corporations. Remember, they’re a business; not a charity. Infact, I’m probably going back to indie developed games. Path of Diablo reminds me why D2 was so popular and successful: it’s independently developed and it’s not controlled by greed.

It is funny because it is true. And by the way, we where againts the old Blizzard cutscene because Arthas does not stand on the hill that whas even there in the cavern of times.
