I asked in a manual web ticket to get a refund for W3:R because the credit card I used to buy this game is not valid anymore and I can’t get a refund on it. They didn’t read and refunded on it anyway, and now they say I’m on my own to find my money back on a credit card that doesn’t exist anymore. They say to contact my bank. THIS IS NOT MY BANK ANYMORE!!!
That’s some serious “eyebrow rising” in your thread. You sure you want to go this route?
PS: The refunds are ALWAYS sent to the payment method which you made the purchase from. In your case, credit card. YOU CAN’T pay by credit card and then say “I want cash” refunded …
Have you called the bank, if so what did they say?
Did you in no uncertain terms tell Blizzard when you applied for the refund that the original credit card was invalid? If so, create a copy of that conversation asap!
What happens next depends on the answers to the above…
I’ll phone my previous bank tomorrow as I just learned about this. In the meantime, yes, I DID tell them that the card was invalid prior to ask the refund (that’s why I sent a manual ticket and did not use the automatic refund option). They just didn’t read the message and here is my conversation with the support team:

Yeah that’s 100% on the CS. All they had to say was “no, it’s not possible to get it refunded to a new card, would you like to continue with the refund?” allowing you to either keep the game or go through with the refund.
They should honestly give you the game back. Or be fired.
