they made the base model hideous so people would be more likely to buy the skins they’ll sell in the future.

Well, technically yeah, but I think they said that all campaign heroes are free skins for melee, so anyone can use Arthas or Uther as their paladin in melee games too. And that would actually make sense, because if you want your typical paladin, you could just use Uther. At least the default paladin is something different. There’s also unique skins for every other paladin you come across in the campaign, and those could also be usable as skins. So there’s plenty of room to have one “ugly” skin.

I like it, he has a very basic military no nonsense look i would expect from a rank and file paladin
