so I figured I would see if I could find bobby koticks email and send him a message about how he is ruining blizzard and other companies for the sake of a quick buck. lucky for me, I found a business email for him. I spent the last couple minutes writing a letter and thought it would be a good idea to get people to also message him. I will list the email and then copy/paste my letter in case you don’t want to spend the time writing something (or in the case of people who are thinking about just writing swear words, please don’t. you only hurt our chances at getting him to listen)

Dear Bobby Kotick,
I’m guessing you’re proud of how the warcraft 3 remaster went over. you made money and screwed people over with false advertising from blizzcon 2018. That said, I hope you realize that denying people refunds is against the law in many countries and valve even had to pay a fine over this very issue.
Now, while I hate you as a person, I have some advice that maybe you are privy to. Good games tend to make more money long term than bad games. World of warcraft has been making money for 15 years while call of duty needs a yearly reboot because it’s constantly poorly made.
Let’s look at some other activision games in recent years. Sekiro was a good game, made money and will continue to make money years down the road because its a good game and people will want it. Crash team racing was a horrible game with microtransactions that is pretty much dead and will no longer make money because it was poorly made and had money grubbing schemes shoved into it. Transformers: fall of cybertron was a good game that was allowed to be fleshed out and made money for years and will probably be a game that will still make money in the years to come as people will want to experience a good game. Destiny and destiny 2 were both rushed, poorly made games with money grabbing tactics shoved into them and had the pacing and cosmetic systems ruined making people want to leave it and in turn, make bungie want to leave you leading to bungie workers cheering at the fact they no longer had to deal with you and activision.
Do you see now why you should let blizzard do their own thing? World of warcraft used to have 10 million subscribers and that was around the time that activision obtained blizzard. every year since the acquisition, world of warcraft has bled more and more subscribers. You need to let the people who care actually do what they love. You need to let the people who want to be there, work reasonable hours and make reasonable pay. You need to let people express themselves and not try to avoid pissing off china if it means pissing off everyone else. I get it, china has a billion people. the issue is, its better to piss off 1 billion people than 6 billion people.
Just remember, happy workers make better products. better products have better sales in the long term and increase PR. EA seems to have finally learned that lesson. Hopefully you and activision will to in the near future.
