4v4 AT effectively has a 100% chance of winning

Combining the 4v4 AT and RT queues was done solely to help 4v4 teams find matches faster, avoiding 3-hour wait times. However, this has negatively impacted RT players who just want to enjoy a game after work.

To balance the gameplay between 4v4 AT and RT:

  1. Prohibit players from sharing resources.
  2. Prohibit players from sharing control over their units.
  3. Increase the damage received by AT team units by 50%.

P.S. Make UD Acolytes immune to magic. #SaveTheAcolyte

Say what you will about partial AT, but this is why I miss it. Now it’s either full, or take your chances with the slew of afk bots, and other greifers in game.

Just played against a 4v4 AT again by mistake. Forgot to check who the players were at the start of game. I usually insta-leave if i see 4v4 AT. Since the game was 3 mins in I figured I’ll play it.

And it went as expected. A total stomp.

Always insta-leave against 4-man AT. Always.

Have to remember that the arranged team has 4 players who have been selected for being decent players, they may be as good or worse than you but one or two of your teammates will be noobs, there is nothing you can do, you have to deny them the enjoyment of stomping, that is the only thing you can do.

Unfortunately the casual noobs dont understand anything and the arranged team feeds on them.

Apart from the equal stats “7-0” etc u can recognize the arranged team because they almost always dont have category icons.

Yes 4v4 is determined by the weakest link in the chain. If you’re playing against 4-man AT and there is 1 noob on your team, it doesn’t matter if the other 3 players are great players, you’re finished.

Most 4v4 AT games ends before 8-mins. Everyone gets an expo and builds a sizable army, and attacks both sides with lvl3 heroes. Since they’re AT, they’ll time their attacks together. Most RT team just collapse from this mid-game attack, since the RT team will typically have 1 noob who still has a lvl1 hero or fast tech with no units.

Oh yeah and typically the people who only play 4v4 AT are tryhards who hate losing, so they always play the strongest strats with a perfect HU/Orc/UD/NE race mix. The NE player will get MG’s or mass chims, the UD gets dk fiends, HU gets gyros/casters, orc gets hh/casters. Basically the perfect 4v4 team combo.

Thanks for the like @Pingponger.
Unfortunately Blizzard did not do anything about it!

People don’t just team up because they’ve “selected” players for “being decent.”
They might just be friends that know each other, and it says nothing about their skill level.

Being a premade isn’t a guarantee of being good, even if it is more probable.
