2.0.1 Unable to Invite Players to Lobby of Loaded Saved Game

This issue occurs with multiplayer standard and custom maps. After successfully saving the game, it becomes impossible to continue playing because no one can be invited to the lobby of the loaded saved game, even if they have the corresponding save file and map. All other players’ slots that were in the game appear grayed out, and there is no option for them to join the game—even if they are on your friends list in Battle.net.

The issue occurs on many standard and custom maps and has a reproduction rate of approximately 90%. It became a case starting from 2.0, but It is still relevant for 2.0.1 PTR

It is important to note that this bug is also relevant for standard melee maps. Due to this You just have to finish the game in single session.

I can confirm the issue and have really “suffered” from it (or variations of it) for years at this point. The entire multiplayer save/load system has been either completely broken or barely working at best ever since Reforged.

Same issue here. 20 year old game, still charging $40 for this and you can’t save a game with your friends lol. Blizz… unreal

It broke with the re-reforged patch

Also having this same problem. Maybe I’m crazy but I’m pretty sure it worked before the big patch last month.
