Dear Devs,
Can you add a few more maps to the FFA map pool in v1.35? So far there’s only one new map being Murgul Oasis compared to older versions. The entire FFA community has been playing on the same maps for a decade, we could really use some fresh maps.

Well, w3champ search time is too long for FFA, no chance for casual folks who is otherwise busy with errands to wait for such lengthy time in trying to get a game going.
Blizzard don’t have to add 100% identical maps to w3champ, it can just be some new maps mutually exclusive with respect to w3champ. But it’s also totally fine to put on a few w3champ maps on there (even current ladder has some maps overlap with w3champ, no issues with that) .
In the ideal world, we should not force people to go to either platform, nor should we intentionally make official ladder distinct from w3champ in terms of feature offerings just to be different. Keep in mind that w3champ only existed because official ladder wasn’t as good when it was initially launched, however that gap is closing in. You can argue that they will never be the same. Providing the maximum flexibility for the mass player base is much appreciated, and that implies we should not just limit certain maps to certain platforms.
