Take Starcraft 2 engine -> Copy all Reforged assets over -> Migrate Warcraft 3 maps -> Replace classic assets with Reforged assets in Starcraft 2 engine -> Fix remaining issues -> Profit
All jokes aside, seriously… Why instead of modding 18 years old game, and merging it with reforged, they didn’t simply use existing Starcraft 2 engine? Recreating the game in SC2 would have been much easier probably and a loot smoother + better result than the disaster that we have got… Simply no words Blizzard, you have dissapointed us so much.
I’m currently battling with support for Reforged 3 refund. They refunded my Shadowlands pre-order fine but they won’t refund this broken mess? Such a dissapointment.
