What keyboard mouse do you use?

is cherry mx blue still popular ?

Qsenn DT-35 all the way as a membrane keyboard (FlaSh, JD, Bisu and many other pros use it).
For mouse anything that fits your hand well (if you’re korean and got small hands then Zowie Mico or Logitech LMO if you can find it).
I’m against using mechanical switches, especially blue ones but that’s just my opinion. There’s a reason behind why pros still using membrane.

thats very interesting… do pro players use membrane in starcraft remastered and mechanical in sc2?

JinAir Maru uses a DT-35 as well I believe.

so membrane is better ???.. i am thinking now to get razer holiday bundle 2018 or should i buy HyperX Alloy FPS Pro with cherry blue

red or brown switches for starcraft. Anything that is tougher to push than that is going to be a pain in the butt. I switched from blues to reds and it was a huge difference to me, i’ll never use blue switches again.

For mouse, it really is all about something that fits comfertble in your hand. I use g203 which is basically the same thing as a gpro. Most people claim there is no difference between the 2. I also have a nkey g007 that I bought from korea. Great egg mouse, but wouldn’t recommend it unless you plan on replacing the switches, it’s a zowie mico clone with the exact tough clicks. I don’t know how people play sc with clicks that tough but i guess it’s just a matter of habbit. I could never get used to it and ive had it for 6months now.

Koreans are heavily into those egg type mouses like zowie mico. They discontinued zowie mico so the next best thing right now is fkmini/fkminiv2/fkminiv3. Those are still being sold and are very popular but they only sell them and ship from korea which can take up to a month to arive at your door step and thats assuming it doesn’t get lost in customs …

I use the corsair k70 mk2 low profile with o-rings installed and Logitech MX master for the mouse. The keyboard has the speed switch which is 0.2mm less actuation point than the MX red low profile switches. MX blue switches are for people who has to type a lot I believe… Also, it needs more force to press the blue switches. The MX red switches will take a bit to get used to if you have heavy hands, but once you get used to it, you can play all day and never get any fatigue on your fingers.

Logitech G102 - best mouse I ever had.

I had a few standard mice like genius etc. But also Razer Copperhead, and also some wireless gaming Razer mouse, which surprisingly for me were both very uncomfortable (either long or large, and also left button after sometime were making annoying doble clicks time to time, making it impossible)

G102 however is great thus far, medium size, smooth movements, no excess of buttons over the place etc. Wires for first time are not interfering with surface etc. Good DPI.

As a keyboard usually anything with standard classic layout and buttons that a not too harsh/strong (currently just using Genius keyboard). Also, as my experience, wireless are not that great to play starcraft on.

Actually I’d buy some $$ keyboard for fun (and maybe there are great mouse out there too with cool mouse pad, to try out, why not) that would be preferable for Starcraft. Just no idea really which are actually good (DT-35 as suggested above not in local stores and is it worth to bother really?).

So it would be actually cool to hear some suggestion about common, but particullary SC favourite devices

Mouse: Logitech G403, pretty good, lies good in my hand.

Keyboard: Logitech G610, Brown Switches

For Starcraft you would want to have Red, Green or Brown Switches. But you should use what works for you as an indiviual.
MX blue switches are rather for typing a lot actually, not for gaming because they strife to simulate the feeling of typing on a typewriter.

Don’t buy Razor equiptment, they are overprized and their quality is not great either. I can recommend Logitech definitely.

A nice bonus of a mechanical keyboard is that you can take the keycaps off, which I really enjoy and do frequently depending on the games I am playing. I would not buy a membrane keyboard therefore.

thanks i bought heyperx alloy fps pro with chery blue… i played some starcraft 2 with it it works better then blacks i had with 6gv2… i read some players exelled with blue i and its fine. and some player excelled with membrane… so itsd better to stick to one keyboard and excell with that… i think keyboasrds is like shoes for runner it will not make you faster but make you more comfortable to play…

logic M330 silent mouse and corsair K55 keyboard

Mouse: A razer mamba 2012 model
Keyboard: My craptop’s keyboard

When it comes to competitive broodwar and mouses, any good, comfortable mouse will do the job. Dont go for the 5 dollar chinese mice. They will break in a month. A laptop’s keyboard is the worst to play because its always warm from the gpu below, and the key-press depth is too small that can cause slight discomfort to the fingers from the excessive tapping. I will probably upgrade to a desktop pc the upcoming year, so a mechanical keyboard would be my preferable choice. I dont know which model though yet. Any suggestions for a good keyboard to play bw, but not ridiculously expensive ?

I use a Logitech G502 for my mouse (been a faithful companion since 2014) and a Logitech G513 with GX Blues for my keyboard.

hey Boss, I have the same keyboard and is intrested in o-rings to make it more silent. So what rings do you have and do they work for you?

Logitech Carbon for the keyboard and PrO for the :computer_mouse:

Mouse: Zowie Mico, FKMINI2, G102/203/GPro/G305
Keyboard: Leopold FC750R (Browns, going to try Reds)
