What exactly happens to zealots and templars when they die

I always had this nitpicky question in my mind. Zealots are being engulfed by a white-blue flame when they die in battle and templars just evaporate. So taking dragoons(wounded solders that are in the 4 legged machine), and the arbiter’s mass recall into consideration, does it mean that when they are about to die, a teleporting crystal on their armor activates and teleports them back to the nexus/citadel or is that their actual death animation? What happens to the flying units like the corsair pilot when they die?

Protoss well, they never die, zelots when dead they become dragons, and templars are just a manifestation of a higuer being protoss (prior zelot, or dragon). Yes, they teleport.

But most importantly protoss highest form is being a scout that is know by everyone,

According to this wiki article:

https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/Warp_stone

that animation is their injured body being teleported back to be inserted in a Dragoon (or possibly being healed if the injuries aren’t too severe? With Protoss’s high technology, I guess they must have some form of medicine)

That pretty much settles it. Thanks!
