I have the classic version on my account and I also have gamepass. The game is still a classic.
I have the same issue as well. If this was intentional, they should’ve advertised it as such PROPERLY.

The game is now working in Remastered version. Thank you support team for resolving this issue.

Just to rule it out, is everyone activating Remastered mode?
You can set it in the Video options, or use the F5 key to toggle it.
I can’t set it, it’s grey and i can’t change language
Are you logging into the Battlenet account that has MS linked to it?
I contact Blizzard Support (Battle.Net).
Yeah I think I used F5 key or Remastered activated automaticly in my case.
@Leviatan, the F5 key isn’t working for me, and the HD button is grayed out.
I too am having the same issue. Reached out to blizzard via support ticket, waiting for a solution. Tried the F5 method, no luck and tried restarting both gamepass and battlenet multiple times.
I’m logging into the Battlenet account that has MS linked to it. StarCraft 2 is working without any issues.
Okay, thanks for the follow up.
Not saying it will definitely help, but try giving it some time to see if it’s just a delay between MS’s and Bliz’s systems. Might help, might not.

We are looking into these reports but if you haven’t already, please fully log out of the Battle.net Desktop App (the launcher) and log in again.
There were some updates yesterday that were intended to help with this experience
If that doesn’t help, let us know.
No success so far, and I’ve logged out of both multiple times (fulled logged out, signed back in again). Load up a mission try F5 and go into the video options but still greyed out.
Also having this issue. Have tried logging out, logging in. Restarting PC, restarting the Xbox App as well as Battlenet… Still has the Remastered features greyed out and unavailable.
