Starcraft compendium says Ultralisk damage is 20, and in game the the Ultralisk damage is 20, but in real it should be 40. 7 marines and 1 medic = 400/25, and 200/200 for Ultralisk for tech up cost. +3 for 1st upgrade, +6 for 2nd upgrade +9 for 3rd upgrade.
i think about this post a lot. I can’t say i know what you mean, but i can say that I agree, and you are right.

Terran infantry is already ineffective against Ultralisks because of Chitinous Plating, but you want to 1-hit-K.O. Marines because of blah blah blah.

Wrong Ultralisks have 200 mineral 200 gas, marines have 0 armor up to 3
6-9 upgrades, with ranged stimpack, which means fully upgraded marines have 9 damage and 40-3 = 37 damage It won’t kill it in one hit. Even with 1 armor 39 damage with medic behind it. At cost of 50 minerals per marine. But 3 armor is good against zergling tho.
