Starcraft Remastered - Crash on Launch

Good morning,

I have had an issue for a few months now launching my Starcraft Remastered out of the Battle.net launcher. The game crashes on launch and never even loads in. Unfortunately I do not know the exact date when this issue started, and I’ve only just gotten around to entering a support topic. The following error code is an example of a recent crash:

CBB2CF69-E199-4461-845A-515FC9615016

So far, I have tried the following:

  • Reset in-game settings
  • Run in 32-bit mode
  • Disable all startup tasks in Task Manager, restart, and launch the game
  • Launch with ‘additional command line arguments’ of -displaymode 0
  • Uninstall and re-install game
  • Uninstall and re-install latest graphics and sound drivers
  • Update Windows 10 to latest patch

Below please find the DxDiag information for my system. Any help you may be able to give would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Edit:

The solution posted in another thread, concerning changing the permissions on controlled folders, seems to have solved the issue. I cannot link the solution here, but a Blizzard mod posted a link to a Microsoft page titled: “Allow a blocked app in Windows Security”.

play the public ream is only way 2 play
