Starcraft 1 is more formal than chess, under same race, it is equal footing, because, while has very slight advantage because over black because it is measured in micro second. and it is pretty well balanced.
Chess is way simpler, but in chess you have to think many moves ahead. Also provides a lot of interaction with your opponent, while in StarCraft there’s interaction with the environment and the opponent.
Yup, but they do have timestamps for each move in chess sites. Each person’s time stamp is different. Not forced, why do you say you? Opponent doesn’t force anything, it’s either you win or lose, or cheat or not cheat.
In StarCraft you’re always trying to see what the opponent is doing, since it’s real-time. You don’t think further away because you’re forced to change your strategy at anytime. In chess is simpler because it’s turn-based, there’s no possibility to replicate in StarCraft what you’re forced to do in chess.
