(SOLVED) SC Remastered won't use Save game files from old Laptop

Back in the old days, Starcraft would save your games within a save folder in the same directory you installed the game using the CDs. However, the new StarCraft Remastered uses a logic that is simmilar to StarCraft 2 creating a folder in your “my documents” folder, if it doesn’t have enough permissions to write there, then that could be the cause.

Your saved games should be in the my documents folder /Starcraft/Save/YourInGameName/

For this to work propperly you also need to put in the my documents folder your Characters folder that contains the YourInGameName.SPC and | or MPC that created the saved games and matches the folder name. That identity is what you select as ID to play in single player.
