how do you drag to move assets in the editor once placed ?? holding mouse 1 doesnt work…

I’m not sure if you can drag to move placed assets in SCMdraft2. You can however copy/cut/paste placed assets in SCMdraft2 by selecting the options under the Edit tab and change them depending on the layer you have selected(unit layer moves units, terrain layer moves terrain, doodad layer moves doodads, etc).
To change the layer you have selected, find the “Layer” box at the top of the SCMdraft2 window and click the drop down arrow to choose the layer that you want to edit(you can also use keyboard shortcuts to change your selected layer[ctrl+U selects units, ctrl+T selects terrain, ctrl+D selects doodads, etc]).

thanks RoughRider , it really helps but i wish they made it like staredit that you could just drag whatever.

Unfortunately I had to stick with Ctrl+Arrows to move assets half a grid block (16 pixels) or Shift+Arrows to move assets one pixel.
