Patch 1.22.4 has arrived.

Features and Improvements

  • Four new purchasable announcers have been added, featuring some of the most legendary commentators in StarCraft’s history.
    • Announcer: Um
    • Announcer: Jeon
    • Announcer: Kim
    • Announcer: Um-Jeon-Kim

Purchase all three individual announcers or the Voices of Legend Bundle to unlock the Um-Jeon-Kim announcer trio!

  • Collections are now accessible via the main menu for items that are not character specific.

  • Ranked MMR is now visible for both players before entering a ranked game.

  • In case you’ve missed what race your opponent was after queuing up for ranked and getting into game, you can now open the diplomacy UI and find out their race. Note ** Random players will show up as “?”

  • Added a “Watch Replay” button option to the post ranked game UI.

  • Players you’ve recently played with will now appear on your “Add Friend” menu popup via Battle.net chat.

Other

  • Refactor of our Cloud saving code, as previously released on PTR.

  • Resizing or altering the window state will no longer cause performance issues in game.

  • “Key Scroll Speed” and “Mouse Scroll Speed” now have a universal value for both single and multiplayer.

Additional, we have a known issue where if a player is in a populated chat channel for an extended period they may experience lag in the UI. We are aiming to hotfix this asap.

The update does not seem to be live yet. I am still playing on the 1.22.3 right now.

why show the mmr for matchmaking? it ruins the game experience. Its a very different mindset when knowing your opponent’s mmr.

Hey everyone,
The announcers should be fully equipable now. Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately for hotkeys, you need to reconfigure. Apologies to the folks this has affected.

hello, the collection tab on unit & structure skins does not equipped, it does not working, help fix it.

Can you consider making the minimap display the map layout (as it is in SC2)? It’s hard to know where bases are unless you study the maps beforehand.

I don’t have the foggiest idea what this means. What part of the game even has announcers?

Default Announcers

  • Terran - Adjutant
  • Protoss - Aldaris
  • Zerg - Overmind

New patch removed all the hotkeys, once more.

Patch erased all my saved data. When i opened it just now it was asking me to start a new game on both starcraft and brood wars. any way to fix this?

In Single Player?

If that is the case, type “thereisnocowlevel” and skip to the level that you were playing before.

I am going to chime in and say MMR before match should be removed as well. I was for it initially, the more info the better is usually what I would say, but too many people are leaving games at the start when they see a decent mmr gap between me and them. It must be daunting seeing that you are 2-300 MMR lower than someone and probably makes them feel like they don’t have a chance.

Showing MMR after match and in history would be good though.
