Open main campaign files in remastered in editor?

Hello there,

Bit of a hard question:

How do you open the MAIN Campaign from starcraft1 & Broodwar Remastered

On the editor ( staredit or scmdraft )? I know you had to open mpq files & such from the old CD version of this but unfortunetaly i don’t have my CD version of it so i’m stuck with the downloaded version of remastered.

Mainly i just want to modify simple things on the campaign, but not add like some of the bigger mods out there that adds like new models & such, so i don’t accidently break the game.

Any solutions to this problem ?

Remastered, as all modern blizzard games, uses CASC file system. There are specialized programs which can open those.

May i ask which programs specific & how to do it (in general) ?
