so this is probably the end of my days playing any blizzard game. I started to play sc2, after that I lost interest in 2. after a update. I started playing thinking that update fixed the things that made me lose interest in the first place. Now I no longer have them on my pc and am thinking about looking in the forums to see when the game falls apart for good.
Do not post anything more before you fix your mental problems.
Ilovescalot:
You need to explain what led you to that. Otherwise it sounds very much like a baseless complaint.
why you dont like the game and walk here to say bad things that is kid thinking work as a mature person you are not 10 years
hello all. i’m sorry for being very inconsiderate without even stating why I uninstalled the game. I play the game with A.I. because people are really good and destroy me all the time. and A.I. now just take down 12 carriers and 2 arbiters all level 3 because of lockdown and psionic storm storm and it made me upset and start to dislike the game. I feel like I should have thought how other people would feel after I had said something stupid like that.
Thanks for the explanation. People can offer you advice if you want?
If you’re struggling against the AI, my question would be how far through the single player campaign have you got?
From playing single player, I could then do a 1v1 or even 1v2 against AI without too much difficulty.
Kind of what BaggyT was going with this.
you should complete the campaigns (at least 1-3) before doing custom games against the AI/MP games I learned that lesson the hard way when I was a kid playing SC for the first time almost 20 years ago.
ok ive gotten to the last missions of each than the op air/nukes kind of take me down
Why in the any thounsands of years its me need closed that all buged names…
Romario - please stop trolling these forums. You’re an idiot.
Ilovescalot - Ok, please give more info:
Which last mission, and what specifically?
Here are some quick tips.
Episode 1 (Terran) - Nukes are annoying, sure. Get detectors quick. Every time there’s a “Nuclear Launch Detected”, either Scanner Sweep or move a Science Vessel to the area.
Episode 2 (Zerg) - Mass Zergling/Hydralisk works nicely. Get a few groups of each to take out the bases to the sides so you can expand. Fully upgrade. 12 groups (7-8 groups of Hydralisks, 4-5 of Zerglings) attack-move to Temple will sort it out. Takes about 20 mins. It’s also possible without expanding.
Episode 3 (Protoss) - Many options here. I tend to get a fairly good base defense with Terran, but mostly use them for mining. (Nukes can work fairly well.) Protoss Dragoons, fully upgraded, are awesome. Expand to the minerals on the right side, North of Protoss starting base, as soon as possible (can be done right at the start, using the Dark Templars to defend).
Episode 4 (Protoss) - Build a huge defensive base by the Temple before you get the heroes to the beacon. Keep producing units. It is possible to take out the island bases, but takes a long time and careful army manipulation.
Episode 5 (Terran) - Pretty tough. Speed at the start is important. Many options. I usually get Dropships, Tanks and a groups of Marines/Medics to the high ground on the South-eastern part of the map, take out the Spores, then use the Tanks to take out the Torrasque Cerebrate. Red is optional for me. Continue using Tanks to take out more Spores, pushing towards the Orange Cerebrate. Can’t get too close as Queens will Broodling, etc. Build 12 Battlecruisers, send them over to the right side of the map (Torrasque base inactive now), set all of them to Yamato the Cerebrate. Only 1 or 2 will die, and they will kill off most of the units after firing. Get detection and Dropship Medics to the Overmind.
Episode 6 (Zerg) - Many options. I usually use a similar tactic to Episode 2 (Zerg): lots of Zerglings/Hydralisks. I take out Protoss first, expand there, then Terran in top right of map, and expand again (I don’t get workers at every base, just set up the bases so that when workers run out of resources, there’s another base to go to). Terran on the left is almost impossible with ground units (lots of Ultralisks and Hydralisks needed), but much easier with a couple of groups of Guardians and Devourers, with some Overlords for detection.
Episode 6 (Zerg) Mission 8 (To Slay The Beast) is very tough, often considered hardest mission in game. 2 group of Hydralisks can take out Zerg base to the right of start, expand quick and defend with lots of Hydralisks. (Can take out Northern Terran base at this point, but I often don’t.) Build up a group of Guardians and a group of Devourers and slowly move to the island base in the top middle of the map. Reinforce and pull back to keep units alive. Take out top left Terran if not done already. Move across the top of the map with Guardians and Devourers, to the next island and move down to take out some Terran buildings and the last Zerg base (don’t attack the final high ground until Zerg is gone). Just remember to reinforce all the time: I often have a spare group or a few extra units being produced, just in case.
A good tip: Mutalisks fly fast, so if the Guardians/Devourers are holding their position fairly well, send the Mutas over before you morph them.
