Map editor for macbook pro

Hello,

I’ve been trying to edit a map for SC Remastered on my Macbook Pro but there is no option to do so. I have macOS High Sierra version 10. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me how I can edit SC map.

As it has been mentioned MANY times before, IN MANY Threads, StarEdit has been Deprecated and removed from SC:R permanently.

There IS a Sticky Thread in ‘General’ Forum called “SCMDraft2 - Alternative StarCraft Map Editor”. SCMDraft2 IS being promoted by Blizzard as the NEW Official Map Editor.

SCMDraft2 is maintained, (and originally created), by Sinsanity. If you read that Thread from the beginning, you will find Links to Download the latest Beta. SCMDraft2 has MUCH more to it than StarEdit ever did. Any questions you have about SCMDraft2 can be Posted in Sinsanity’s Thread, he WILL get back to you.

Even though StarEdit has been Deprecated and removed, there is a Thread about that Deprecation and removal. In that Thread there is a Link to ‘manually’ Download and use the LAST Version of it. Be aware that it is NO LONGER Updated or maintained by Blizzard, AND Blizzard has warned that ‘eventually’ it will stop working.

Hello,

So I was able to open scmdraft 2 on my macbook pro via vine, but having trouble launching scmdraft 2. Below is the error im getting when trying to launch SCM Draft 2.

Error loading game data “Unable to find the game data - either the files are not accessible or they do not exist. Please edit the selected profile and update the game data settings and the starcraft directory.”

It’s been so long since I set mine up on my original Hackintosh; I don’t remember the exact steps. Again, go to Page 1 - Post 1 of the SCMDraft2 Thread and read through the early Posts there. The answer and directions you seek ARE in the Thread.

I did go to the thread and followed the posts (spent 2 hours in this) but it is of no help. Still getting this error below:
