I’ll get straight to the point. I am looking for a mod that will give a lot of the quality of life changes in the sequel. Mostly just selecting more units and buildings at once. Yes, i am bad at the old game, i have been spoiled, blah blah blah. I didnt come here to get dogged on, so helpful comments please.

Official Blizzard Channels are going to tell you that this WILL NOT happen. (For MANY reasons, the MOST IMPORTANT is that SC:R was set up with the EXPLICIT endeavor of NOT changing the Game Engine Mechanics.)
IF you are able to find 3rd Party Support OUTSIDE of Blizzard, you would MOST LIKELY need to use your Original Installation Media with the 1.16.1 Update and REMAIN Offline from the Battle .net Account Login. (Something on the order of what ICCUP is/was running.)
SC:R is a “Remastered” Version of the Classic Game, and therefore WILL MOST LIKELY NOT be changed in the way you mention here by Blizzard.

Other Threads with other such Mod Requests have already been discussed and hashed out over and the consensus by the SC:R Consumer Population, AND by Blizzard as I’ve mentioned above, is that this just WILL NOT happen.

Every changes to gameplay will ruin the game and lure people away.
What part of the term “mod” have you two not understood? If I or any of SCR mod developers decide to make a mod like that, Blizzard’s guidelines and community’s common opinion will be the least of our concerns.
Answering the actual question, I have seen some of the older 1.16 mods raising the selection restriction on the unit groups, but they also include tech tree changes etc, nothing specifically for purpose of QoL. Making such a mod would definitely require usage of gptp, so it will be 1.16 only regardless.

Thank you for all your answers. I am a little disapointed i couldnt find what i wanted, but such is life. I do understand what timelord04 is telling me, and that is fine. I guess i should have exected as much. As for huavanthai, i do not intend to use these mods for online. I am mostly looking for some mods or what not to help with the story. It just so happens that my time with starcraft 2 has made this more difficult. And thank you UEDCommander for anctually giving me an answer. Althought this does sound interesting, i think i will pass on such a mod. I mostly just want the quality of life changes. There is no further reason for anymore answers, i got all i need. Welp, time for a slog fest. I knew being a casual was going to bite me in the butt. Again, thank you, and good day.
