Hello, Blizzard team.
I would like to request a system update for Ladder matches—similar to the "map ban" feature—that allows players to avoid mirror matchups (playing against the same race) and matches against players from other regions.
Playing against players from other regions causes severe lag, making it extremely difficult to play the game properly.
Also, there seems to be an issue with the current matchmaking algorithm; regardless of whether I play Terran, Zerg, or Protoss, I encounter mirror matchups far too frequently.
Even if a specific race is popular, one would expect to face that race often when playing as a different race; however, the system seems to pair me against my own race far too often.
If it is feasible and not too difficult to implement, I would greatly appreciate this change.

choosing the races you want to play against is awesome. i think the classic team had plans to implement it next to the plans to implement 2v2 ladder and 3v3 BGH ladder search engine but then the classic team left blizzard entertainment forever :D. anyway is a great idea, great for practice my ZvP on ladder, great to master some build order but im afraid the player pool is too small now for something like this to be a good thing
Its not a great thing considering that we dont have enough players to add this type of filter.
I thought they used to have a 3rd party to filter stuff like that?
