I cannot launch starcraft original on my pc. There is no error message the game just never starts when starting from the .exe or from the blizzard launcher.
Troubleshooting down so far
Uninstalled and reinstalled starcraft
uninstalled and reinstalled blizzard launcher
Checked for updates
Did a scan and repair
nothing worked

One of the most common reasons for this type of issue is the game is running into a conflict interacting with the resources it needs to run. I recommend the following steps:

Disable all background programs following the steps Here, and restart the PC.

Double check OneDrive is not backing up the Documents\StarCraft folder.
Retest.

Starcraft also won’t start for me… although I’m on an M1 Mac. Didn’t see any posts recently regarding the M1’s so figured to post here and ask.
