In options - video , the FPS cap ranges from 100-300, why is there a 100 minimum? Can we please get a lower reasonable value? 30-60-90? This causes unnecessary strain on laptops, draining battery life, rocketing fans etc. Seems like an oversight for a beloved game.
Download Riva Tuner to cap your FPS globally, it’ll overwrite any program and always set the value to your preference, i think you also need the MSI program to pair with but not sure, there’s no losing though as having a program like MSI is good to keep track of temperatures of your PC among other details.
thanks for the reply, i’ll keep trying but so far ive been unable to get RTSS to hook and get up and running, there are multiple .exes i’m thinking i have yet to try hooking to launcher.exe
You can override this by editing FPSLimit in:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\StarCraft\CSettings.json
