Starcraft Remastered forces my 1440P/144 Hz monitor to 4K whenever I open it, which in turn limits the game to 60 FPS. I’m guessing this is due to the version of display port my monitor has not supporting beyond 60 FPS on 4K since it’s not even a 4K monitor… It’s really annoying and confuses me why it would try to force a resolution beyond my native display res?
I just want to play at 1440p/144 FPS but since it forces 4K I can’t. Is there no way to force it to launch in my native display resolution with a command line argument or is some other solution to this? I tried looking for a solution but can’t find one.
Update: I resolved it myself by changing from Fullscreen to Windowed Fullscreen. This stopped it from trying to force it to 4K res and thus now I can play at 144 FPS.
