I understand that blizzard implemented the option because there was a pro-gamer who preferred old version of starcraft. But honetly, for majority of us who utilizes keys such as F2, F3, and F4, this option really is irritating. It is frustrating because some of us often click F5 when we actually meant to click F4, especially when I am in the middle of an important battle. So, would it be possible that the admins can give us an option to disable F5 key?

I’m glad you said “the option to disable F5 key”. That’s a great idea for people like you who press it accidentally.
For someone like me who occasionally enjoys reverting back to the old graphics, and only occasionally uses F2-F4 (I wouldn’t consider myself a “pro-gamer”!), it’s not a problem. But having the option to disable it is certainly a great idea!
God implemented this feature when he invented the concept of a keyboard. Here is how it works:
First, you take off the keycap of the key you don’t want to press
…and that’s it! Don’t forget to pray!
Some people use their keyboards for mare than just playing one game over and over again. Unfortunately, there’s more to life than StarCraft.
Strange, I have never ever accidently pressed F5 and haven’t heard of anyone else… You must have a pretty strange keyboard, not having a gap between F4 - F5 (or laptop…).
That is exactly the first thing that i thought, is incredible that nobody realized that about this thread.
Removing a keycap and putting it back on takes essentially no time and effort. You’ll be fine.

All my keyboards I use automatically have the F1 key taken out for this exact same purpose.
