BrowserProxy takes too much CPU

When I login Battlenet
, the process “BrowserProxy” eats nearly 100% CPU power.
I understand the game itself eat CPU power because Path-finding and other stuff would require a lot of calculation.
but I don’t understand why “BrowserProxy” takes so many CPU when no actual game is started but merely Battlenet chat screen is on my screen.

I use Mac.

Some parts of the user interface are now implemented as a web browser, and web browsers (and their content) these days are absurdly inefficient. Look no further than this “new” forum for an example.

Zerg is nothing compared to the all-devouring, carbon-emitting Javascript.
