APM vs rAPM request!

I have returned to play starcraft once again in my life! (loved this game since I tried it on N64!) However I Dislike this fake APM that you can produce from just holding down 1 hotkeyed object. It would be nice to see what others are actually running in comparison to yourself with out an extra tool to do so!

So a solution to this would be to introduce an rAPM for clicks and button presses that actually did something!

Obviously just a request , Thank you starcraft 1 team ! :smiley:

I think having EAPM (Effective APM) would be nice. wLauncher used to have this feature which showed it after game ended on battle.net lobby.

eAPM would be a nice measure of a player level when playing ranked (also help against smurf accs), not just MMR, so it should be taking in count.

Hi! You can use these two tools for retrieving APM and EAPM:

SCRChart doesn’t seem to be plotting EAPM in real time, as it does for APM. It only shows a value of the average EAPM. I remember of a tool in the past that plotted both of them, but it wasn’t working with SC:R.
Although, you can contact the creator and ask him nicely if he could add plotting for EAPM.

As for BW Replay Charter, there are two descriptions used for APM in the program. I think VAPM (BW Replay Charter) means APM and APM (BW Replay Charter) means EAPM, you have to check that out for yourself as I can’t recall exactly.
BW Replay Charter seems also to be only plotting APM in real time.
