Original SD feels different and I truly believe the minor color details change teh entire experience, is there anywhere I could at least play the campaign using an old version of SC1 and Brood War with the original graphics intact?
Just download 1.16.1
You can always re-install from the CDs. Manually update to whichever patch you want (as UEDCommander suggested).
Just don’t connect to Battlenet or it’ll automatically download the latest version.
I maintain an old version of StarCraft and WarCraft III, just in case. Recently, the old version of WarCraft III has paid off immensely!!

Make sure you have HD unchecked. Make sure your computer can handle along with your drivers up to date. It can work on non up to date drivers until it crash to show these weird colors that’s a sign to update. Brood War does have everything intact I don’t see their bug color problem since Remaster took care of that.

If you mean the whole game, then I’m not sure where you can download it. If it were me, I’d hop onto Amazon or eBay and see if I can buy a copy of the discs.
(I bought a spare copy of the discs last year, just in case something happens to mine which are about 12 years old… because my originals from 1998 are dead!)

That iCCup link works but IIRC it comes without campaign and music. If it’s legal in your country just download it from torrent.
